We are pleased to report that we are improving and expanding our website to provide more and easier access to Kane County government information, forms, and documents. We are committed to transparency in government, and expect our website to reflect that commitment.

In addition to new Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) forms, our website contains a Document Library that includes links to documents for which no FOIA request is required. Advice on new and improved website content, information and accessibility is being provided by a Website Task Force headed by County Board Member Jeanette Mihalec and includes public members as well as county staff.

Information will be changed and updated frequently, and we invite you to visit the County website often so you can see what is new or different. We also look forward to updating the look of the website within the next few months.

Meanwhile, if there is available information that you would like to see posted on our website that is not accessible currently, or that you find difficult to access, please contact us via e-mail. We are eager to assist you and welcome your input in our effort to improve and expand our public communication.
