“We currently compost all of our food waste (also brought in from our homes) in our onsite garden where we grow our own vegetables, we have 3 beehives onsite, we use a solar water pump to use the water from our pond to irrigate our garden, we use a [big fan] in the colder months to make our two warehouse furnaces more efficient and use less energy. We started recycling in April of 2013. We've cut down our waste by more than half, and only have one pick up vs. the two weekly we had prior to recycling. If anything, this has opened our employees' eyes to what is actually recyclable. Our [trash] dumpster is less than 1/4 full on our ONE pick up and our recycling is overflowing every week.”

Our Environmental Department provides Native area Management and Maintenance services to clients.  We encourage native areas which broaden environmental diversity, attract wildlife and improve water quality.  We have community outreach as part of several of our projects where we write newsletter articles and present different environmental topics to help educate our communities and neighbors."
